About Eastern Officials Association

The Eastern Officials Association (EOA) is the premier sports officiating organization connecting athletic leagues, school programs, and tournament directors with highly qualified, independent sports officials. We currently represent a network of over 400 certified referees and umpires who deliver professional officiating services for scholastic, travel, and recreational sports programs.

The Regions We Serve

We provide comprehensive sports officiating across Eastern Virginia (Hampton Roads) and Northeastern North Carolina. Our active coverage areas include:

• Southside Hampton Roads: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Franklin, Isle of Wight County, and Southampton County.

• The Peninsula & Eastern Shore: Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Poquoson, York County, James City County, and New Kent County.

• North Carolina: Surrounding counties throughout Northeastern NC, including Gates, Currituck, Dare, Pasquotank, Camden, Perquimans, and Elizabeth City.
